McPherson Camp #1 Atlanta, GA The McPherson Camp is an Atlanta area camp of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) and a member of the SUVCW Department of Georgia and South Carolina. Our mission is to preserve the memory of the Grand Army of the Republic and our ancestors who fought to preserve the union from 1861 - 1865.
